The π-shaped hotel sequence, Worldwide

Hotels

Embracing the ethos of THINK NATURE, this renovation project transforms outdated hotel facilities, proving that even structures with unimaginative designs can be reborn as nature-inspired masterpieces. Instead of demolishing and rebuilding, our approach emphasizes sustainable transformation with minimal structural disruption—leading to significant carbon savings and a renewed sense of purpose.

By breathing new life into π-shaped buildings, a signature of mid-century modernism, we seamlessly blend biophilic elements with modern design principles. This process not only revitalizes these iconic forms but also creates vibrant, flow-inducing environments that cater to the diverse needs of today’s guests—whether they seek a retreat, connection, relaxation, or adventure.

Our philosophy is rooted in the belief that the same design language can elegantly bridge the urban and the idyllic. With only minimal material changes, the innovative THINK NATURE concept can be adapted to hotels in bustling city centers as well as in serene holiday destinations. Through parametric façade enhancements and thoughtful redesign, we challenge the traditional fate of demolition and reimagine these spaces as dynamic, sustainable havens.

This pioneering approach offers hotel chains an ideal solution for revitalizing their identity in a post-pandemic world. It not only preserves cherished architectural heritage but also aligns with modern guest preferences, making the integration of THINK NATURE principles a strategic imperative for hoteliers across diverse settings—from urban sanctuaries to beachfront retreats.

The Home Away from Home concept

Central to our design philosophy is the "Home Away from Home" concept, epitomized by micro-studio apartments that seamlessly blend functionality with comfort. Featuring a study area, bedroom, living space, kitchen, and bathroom within a compact footprint, these micro-studios cater to guests seeking remote work opportunities or a balance between work and leisure. With a design aesthetic mirroring the iconic facade pattern, these micro-studios offer a sanctuary of relaxation and luxury within the confines of a hotel setting.
